Dastak (دستک, “a knock on the door”) is a tiny messenger for you and one person: knocks, moods, chat, calls and a daily question — encrypted end to end, so nobody else can read any of it. Not even us.
One subscription covers both of you. Android first; iOS is next.

One tap says “thinking of you”. Three kinds, your own words and emoji, a distinct buzz on their phone, and a streak you keep together.
Mood & status
A mood emoji on your partner's home screen, a status line, a 24-hour photo status with replies.
Chat
Text, photos, GIFs, stickers, voice notes that can unlock at a chosen time, files, locations, reactions, edits, delete for everyone, view-once and no-save photos, disappearing messages.
Calls
Voice and video, peer to peer. When a relay is needed it only ever carries encrypted packets.
Daily question
The same question for both of you every day — or one you ask yourselves, even a poll. Answers show only when both have answered.
Location
Share where you are once, or live for a time you choose. Always explicit, always visible on your own screen, stops when you say so.

Countdowns to dates that matter, a shared “when I'm back” list, and your numbers.
No Google required
Works on phones without Google services through UnifiedPush. No ads, no analytics, no tracking.

Signal Protocol
Every message, photo, call, mood, status, question, answer, location and even your profile photo is encrypted on your phone before it leaves (X3DH, Double Ratchet, post-quantum prekeys).
Nothing to read on the server
The server stores ciphertext it cannot open and deletes each message the moment your partner's phone has it.
Verify it yourselves
Compare your safety number in person, or pair by QR code so the keys are verified from the very first message.
Screenshots blocked
Inside the app, no screenshots or screen recording. Notifications never show message text.
